About GoEyeball™

What is this GoEyeball™ site about?

The GoEyeball™ site was created to save users TIME and MONEY. Every time an item that the user is monitoring (eyeballing) drops to their specified target sale price an email notification is sent to the user.

What exactly is an 'Eyeball'?

An Eyeball is a listing you create to monitor a particular product. This product can be anything you want! Some people monitor real estate prices on MLS.ca, other people monitor stock prices, or typically people monitor online goods they find on other websites. When you create an Eyeball, we keep an eye on that listing until it hits your desired threshold. Then we send you an email, and you get the deal that you want. Its that simple!

What are verified sites?

A VERIFIED site is a site that has been tested and is compatible with the technology we use on GoEyeball™ to price monitor. These sites have either been verified by you, the User or by our administration team. Please feel free to suggest a site that is compatible but not already listed here.

How do I know If I have created my Eyeball correctly?

Once you have created your EyeBall, in the column "Last Known Price", a dollar value should appear. If "N/A" is in this column then either the eyeball was not created correctly, therefore try again. Or the site that you are trying to create an EyeBall for is not technologically compatible (see Verified Sites).

What does "threshold" mean?

The threshold means the percentage off the price that is currently listed that you can set, so that once it does reach that threshold, an email will be sent to you to notify you of the price drop. e.g. The price of a Sony TV is $1400.00. You don't want to buy it unless it drops by 20%. So you won't be notified of a price drop until it has dropped down to $1120.00

How can I take advantage of price matching?

You can easily price match by setting up different eyeballs (monitors) for the same item on different websites. eg. A Wii selling at FutureShop may have dropped the price, you can then see if other stores have a price match policy. If another store such as BestBuy price matches, then not only will you get your item at the threshold you set it to, you might even get an additional percentage off if you are able to purchase at the store that does not have the item on sale.

How can I use GoEyeball™ to take advantage of price adjustments?

By keeping your eyeballs active even after you have purchased the item, you can see if the item still continues to drop in price. If it is within the time frame of that stores policy, then you can get a price match.

Money Saving Tip: You can still create an Eyeball after you've made a purchase. Most stores will refund you the difference if an item goes on sale within 30 days after you've made your purchase! Create your Eyeball for your product and if the price drops, you can bring your item back into the store to get the difference refunded if their policy allows it!
